Technology enhanced vision in blind and visually impaired individuals
This research project is established as ground research in the humanities and neuroscience and investigates the potential of computer vision technology for blind and visually impaired individuals in their everyday life. The aim of the project is to use these insights to develop and test a rough prototype app using Google Tango as a platform. The app will help blind and visually impaired people navigate as a supplement to the white cane.
