The first steps towards a common ethical certification in communications

In an editorial in Kforum (in Danish) Brian Due of CIRCD and co-editior Timme Bisgaard Munk argue that the communications trade is in need of clear ethical guidelines.

The need has been highlighted by the Falck case but has been relevant for a long time. Munk and Due propose a code of conduct based on 7 guiding principles that all enterprises and organisations can subscribe to, and they propose voluntary trade certification and the establishment of an independent ethical 'Com-Council' to manage the certification.

In order to debate their propositions Munk and Due will host a symposium on the subject at 22 May 2019 15:00-17:00. (Location is yet to be decided).
