Brian Lystgaard Due receives the UCPH Innovation Award

Brian Due received the award for his interdisciplinary basic research into people's interaction with new technology – something that, among other things, has led to valuable solutions for the blind and partially sighted using AI technology.

His various collaborations have, among other things, led to concrete prototypes, companies and business concepts, and, as it says in the proposal, Brian Due's research illustrates "the breadth and depth of the university's innovation – not because it has led to new patents, but because it has affected the quality of life for a large number of people" .
